Dust
The inside of Dust has paper wasp hives, small scrolls, real teeth and bones, hair, and a bottle. The image is from a shoot I did in 2014 of my friends, Malka and Lisa.

Of all the boxes I've made, this is my favorite one. The wrapped figures remind me of attic bound, sheet-draped furniture. And the bits inside the box are remains...are what's cast off when the beings move on.
